the final touches are being put on The WIMP. all in all, the planning of it is going pretty smoothly, hope it lives up to the hype, or the perceived hype. i feel like people are behind it. i’m stoked to see what comes out of all of the positive momentum gained in the community right now.
as i plan the wimp event, i’m also planning and producing the may comedy loser. i think that the show is full, but to be honest, so many people have asked to be put on it, that, whoever shows up to do a bit can sign up on the night. the rule is though, IT MUST BE ALL NEW MATERIAL. don’t bring something you’ve already done. i’ll give out as many slots as i can. if you have something original, funny, and weird (or not weird), email me at booking@comedyloser.com. i’m not sure what the future holds for the show, so, this might be your last chance to get on this one until fall. go to COMEDY LOSER to get the poster off of the front page for you to send around to your emails lists, etc.
i golfed today. i didn’t golf poorly, i felt really rusty. my irons suck. i need new ones. i hate my hybrid club. and i watched a dude my age get sucked into buying $1400 worth of clubs and accessories by the “club pro”. the kicker in that situation, the dude had golfed twice in his life. i walked in and was waiting to pay for my round of golf, some balls, and i needed tee’s. as i waited for the very stupid man that was serving me to find the tee’s, i caught the ass end of this dudes conversation with the pro and i heard him say, “huh, i came in here to rent clubs to golf with my friends, and instead i drop a paycheque on clubs…”. what a fucking dumb ass.

i was featured in uptown in the ONE TO WATCHsection. immediately i hear someone “from the community” is talking shit about how i ‘submitted’ my name to them to be featured. while, you are able to do that, ask jared story, the dude who wrote it, if i submitted my name to him. ah community person, how i love your petty piece of shit existance.
one of my favourite comics, DAVE ATTEL, is the host of the new gong show. apparently, it’ll be on comedy central in the US. therefore, it’ll be here in canada in 3 years.
