everyday i wake up and…
everyday i wake up and make coffee, feed my kids their breakfast, i clean up after my asshole cat, i quickly glance at the paper to see how many people the winnipeg police have killed over night, then i hunker down and open up google reader to get my rss updates from around the world.
i held off on using google reader for months because, well, honestly, i didn’t know what an rss feed was. i didn’t understand it, and, ignorance is bliss. it could, if i visited every page i regularly read, take me 5-6 hours to ‘surf’ the internet. i read everything from personal blogs, to the globe and mail, to comedy bulletin boards, to the huffington post, to sports betting websites, to a website that has a daily old school garfield comic. here are the links to some good reads, incredible ‘things’, and just plain entertaining shit that i had in my reader today.
